Eshop Design Starting point
Nayax is a global fintech company spanning multiple business units, with user touchpoints ranging from payment devices and cms to mobile wallets. As Lead Product Designer, I led the eShop team from initial concept through developer handoff.
The redesign introduced a refined use of brand assets, creating a clearer, more tangible, and trustworthy experience that puts Nayax’s products, technologies, and solutions first. The launch led to a broader engagement across the company’s digital ecosystem.

Scaled Design Supersystem
Nayax’s services span payment devices, unattended payment terminals, digital wallets, mobile apps, and merchant management platforms. Following the eShop successful redesign, the scope expanded to the company’s entire product ecosystem, creating a need for unified design principles and governance across business units, interfaces, and device formats.
The challenge: scaling the eShop design system into a design supersystem: a hierarchical architecture of around 20 interconnected design libraries, combining shared foundations and semantic tokens with the distinct visual identities and functional requirements of each business unit.
• Design principles + semantics
• Components + interaction logic
• Accessibility rules
• Responsive / device patterns
• Flow patterns + edge cases

Problem Statement
How might we design a scalable system that unifies diverse business units, products, and devices, while preserving brand identity and specified functional needs?
The Solution: Cross-unit Governance
We built a design supersystem of approx. 20 interconnected Figma libraries, translating shared foundations, semantics and sub-identities into a structured, reusable architecture. This gave design teams a common source of truth across Nayax’s business units, from minimal POS to complex digital platforms. The design super system allowed us to streamline cross-product designs, while maintaining consistency at scale. It also made it easier to generate innovative & flexible ideas, on a unified, maintainable design infrastructure - that could evolve alongside the company’s expanding ecosystem.
